Norton's website
A major redesign of our company website, wwnorton.com, launched in June 2019 to improve our customers' experiences with finding, accessing, and purchasing our materials, as well as to reflect the unique way in which Norton exists as one company with many audiences (general readers, students, educators). We continue to improve in these areas iteratively so that the website can provide a modern, streamlined, reliable, accessible, and secure experience for our customers and Nortonians.
InQuizitive
InQuizitive is an adaptive quizzing tool that combines interactive question types with game-like elements to engage students. Instructors most often assign InQuizitive activities as homework before lecture to ensure students come prepared to class. Learn more at http://inquizitive.wwnorton.com. Please see InQuizitive help notes for additional details about InQuizitive functionality.
Smartwork
Smartwork is an online, self-graded homework system with interactive content designed to engage and challenge your students. Learn more at https://wwnorton.com/smartwork5. Please see Smartwork help notes for additional details about Smartwork functionality.
Norton Ebook Reader
Norton ebooks offer an enhanced reading experience at a fraction of the cost of a print textbook. They provide an active reading experience, enabling students to take notes, bookmark, search, highlight, and read offline. Instructors can even add notes that students can see as they are reading the text. Norton ebooks can be viewed on all computers and mobile devices. Please see ebook help notes for additional details about the Norton ebook reader.
Norton Testmaker
Norton Testmaker brings Norton's high-quality testing materials online. Create assessments from anywhere with an Internet connection, without installing specialized software. Search and filter test bank questions by chapter, type, difficulty, learning objectives, and other criteria. Then, easily export your tests to Microsoft Word or Common Cartridge files for import into your Learning Management System. Please see Testmaker help notes for additional details about Testmaker.

Norton Teaching Tools (fka Interactive Instructor's Guide)
Norton Teaching Tools is a searchable, sortable database of author-created resources for engaging students in active and applied learning in the classroom. To see an example, please view the Instructor Resources section of a book detail page on wwnorton.com.
Tutorials and ZAPS Labs
Tutorials are digital resources that give students hands-on practice for building skills in a low-stakes environment. Topics covered in tutorials are broken down into smaller parts that allow students to progress, step by step, through different activities to gain more exposure to the material. ZAPS Labs are online psychology labs in the tutorial framework that allow students to complete a demo or experiment that highlights an important psychological principle. Please see Tutorials help notes for additional details about Tutorials.
Digital Landing Pages
The Digital Landing Page (DLP) is where instructors and students can purchase and access Norton digital learning tools. Please see DLP help notes for additional details about DLPs.
Flashcards
While most of our attention goes to for-sale items such as ebooks, Smartwork, and InQuizitive; flashcards remain one of the most popular resources that we create for students. You can see a demo of our flashcard app here. Alice Garrard and the Instructional Technology team handle producing the flashcards.
Resources for your LMS (rLMS files)
Pre-made course files formatted for each LMS, (Canvas, Moodle, D2L, and Blackboard). These files contain integrated links to digital products from the DLP for each text, flashcards and additional content specified by the media editor. These files are produced by the Instructional Technology Team and are available to adopting professors from the Instructor Resource page for each text.
NCIA Content Table (NCT)
Essentially a table of links that is designed to collect and display virtually any type of instructional content. It does not record or report student interactions with the content, and thus cannot be assigned. With one or two exceptions that rely on CloudCMS, all content tables are managed via Google Docs. The media producers in the Digital Publishing team are responsible for managing access and setting up the NCTs for college editorial.
Norton Online Quizzing Engine (NOQE)
A quizzing engine that presents users with the same questions in the same order each time the assignment is accessed. Most NOQE assignments use multiple choice questions but any interactive InQuizitive question formats can be used. You can learn more info about NOQE via NOQE help notes.
Interactive Listening Guides (iLGs)
Provide a structural timeline for musical works. Customers can listen to the entire piece, then click or tap any section to focus their listening. Each iLG synchronizes explanatory narrative with the music, complete with definitions of musical terms. Here's a sample.
