Instructional Technology
The Instructional Technology team provides support for the functionality of the various Learning Management Systems including Blackboard, Canvas, D2L/Brightspace, Moodle and others. The production and support of rLMS course files, Flashcards, Norton Testmaker import process and any LMS-based functionality are managed through this team. Norton Testmaker backend support is provided to the media editorial team to load test bank content to the application. This team supports the internal stakeholders including the Specialist Team, CES team and Travelers. Additionally, this team supports professors with LMS content questions through the service desk.
When developing rLMS course files it is important to provide Norton content in a manner that allows the instructor to easily manage this content. LMS-specific tools for providing links should be used to allow the links to be moved within the course by the end-user once imported to their course to their site. Instructions and explanations should be written and placed in the instructor-facing area of the course to allow best communication with the instructor.
Communication to the product owners of any item used within the rLMS course files is important to maximize the functionality of the product within each LMS.
